My Thoughts on "Sick Boys" (Spine Ridge University series) - by Clarissa Wild

     


    I saw this book all over TikTok and Facebook as a great smutty read however, I didn't know what I was getting into when reading this book. As per usual I didn't read any trigger warnings (as one probably should) and I didn't read any reviews. I just went based off what the BookTok gals and facebook gals said that it was an amazing read. It was. This has ALL the spice as well as a great story line. 

    Pen is out for revenge on her sisters death. She enrolls into the same university that her sister died at and in a rather unconventional way she enlist the help of 3 Skull and Serpent Fraternity boys. These boys are sick and twisted and throw every red flag there is! Little does Pen know but these same 3 boys are looking for the same revenge she is. They make a deal her body for their help. At the time of the deal, Pen really didn't know what she was getting herself into but in the end I believe it was well worth it! 

    Felix, Alister and Dylan all want the same revenge but didn't realize the depths they would have to go nor the amount of self reflection that they were going to end up needing to get there. They not only push Pen to her limits in all things with there games but they also end up pushing themselves. 

    As long as your triggers aren't on the list that I highly recommend that you read, I think you should really give this book a try.

   This does have some troupes that you definitely want to be aware of and make sure you're okay with but if you are..... you're in for an AMAZING read. She is known for her odd sense when it comes to the darkness that serial killers have. My thoughts on "Madness" by Shantel Tessier #6 in L.O.R.Ds series

  Madness is the latest book in the L.O.R.Ds series and I'm here for it. I already love the series but Madness really brought some understanding to things. Haidyn Jamison Reeves really was and is the only man in the series with a heart. I've not cried during many books but this one got me. Out of all 6 books in the series this one is the most captivating and gut wrenching. The thrill level is 5/5, Spice is 5/5, overall 5/5 highly recommended, however you need to read the series to get the full effect.  I love the way Shantel is able to capture so much spice while still having a storyline that is not only engaging but also captivating. I literally get lost in the L.O.R.Ds world when reading these and Madness was no exception. Hayden is a completely misunderstood man whom has a huge heart of gold in a world where that's not a good thing. Plus he's a spade brother so having a heart is not part of the job description. My Thoughts on "The Pucking Wrong Number" - By C.R. Jane

    I had very high expectations with this book after seeing so much about it on TikTok. It did not disappoint me. This book had me on edge with the amount of red flags that Lincoln was flying around him. The spice in this one is a hard 5/5 and I originally had my doubts how this could be a dark romance with it also being a hockey romance but C.R Jane knocked this out of the park!      Lincoln who is a big shot hockey star ends up falling for this "nobody" Monroe. I loved how C.R Jane managed to tastefully provide us a picture of Monroe's struggles with her childhood and the things she went through. I also loved how she gracefully wrote how those things still effected her as an adult and how she worked through them. Lincoln turned his curiosity into a over the top obsession very quickly and I was weirdly here for it.      This book does have some triggers that you may want to look into.
