My Thoughts on "Ruin My Life" by Luna Pierce Sinners and Angles Series

Where to start with this one! This one gave me so many emotions! I honestly think that this one is probably my most favorite and most relatable one out of the series so far. I'll attempt this review without giving spoilers as always but this book really hit me in the feels and hit home with me on so many levels!

Cora (main female baddie!) has a seriously messed up past that not only steals her childhood/teenage years but also creates a huge mind shift for her. I can't express how empowering her story is written and how strong of a female character she is even thought in the story she doubts herself. I also adore how all 3 of her boyfriends empower and embrace her as she is. I hate that the men in Cora's life before getting involved with Miller, Alec and Silver were all planning on using her, including her own father. I hate that her father let her get involved in his shady debts and allowed her to take the fall without even attempting to put up a fight.

The way she meets Silver and the way her relationship starts with Miller really strengthens the thought of doing literally anything for the one you love. Even though at the time Silver didn't realize what he was walking into. I love the way Luna Pierce so far in all of the stories explains the feelings as if the characters souls just knew the moment they say/met their other piece. Silver especially shows the soul just knowing as their story unfolds.

In this book the 3 men involved didn't all necessarily know each other but there was a little bit of crossover. Miller knew both Alec and Silver however, Alec and Silver didn't know each other until after Cora was involved. With this I love how open the guys were to what she wanted and their only goal was to save her from her fathers debts and to love her unconditionally. The only part I didn't like in this is I wish we knew Alec's portion of the story when he decided to "walk-away" for a bit. I was hoping for a chapter of being in his head and showing his return. I didn't expect him to leave then next thing we knew he was back and part of the plan.

This story comes with many triggers but if some of these triggers are part of your past like mine, I love how Luna Pierce wrote about them and how she gave Cora the closer she and I feel like even I needed. I love how Cora in the end is her own baddie self and savior. She literally is the strongest female character I have read about so far and gives me complete " I am a Queen who doesn't need a man but chooses her 3 kings" vibes.

Fav Quotes:

"No, those are reserved for the main characters, and I’m not the main character of this story, just a side character who probably gets killed off in the end." - Cora

"I should probably see all this as blaring red flags, but if I'm being honest, red has always been my favorite color. "- Cora

"One thing is certain, something is going to get broken, and I don't know whether it's going to be all the bones in my body or my heart. And I don't know which one would be worse."
