My thoughts on "Vile Boys" by Carissa Wild- Spine Ridge University Series

Image
This one got me. On multiple levels, definitely check the triggers on this one. I usually don't give to much away but this one has grief as well as abuse in it. However, of you can handle those the book is a decent read but it does have some great twist to it.    There were a lot of things in this one that I didn't see coming. I loved that this was taking place during Lana's story in Evil Boys. Crystal is one heck of a mentally strong female character. The amount of things she's gone through and still manages to keep it together is amazing. I also loved how she never gave in or up!    Blaine is my favorite main male character in this one. He literally is everything! The way he thinks and goes about life, I envy it! The other main men, Caleb and Ares remind me to much of an ex that I couldn't really like them until the end.  The story in this one is not as good as the others. This one really felt like Carissa was getting bored herself. What little st...

My Thoughts on "Evil Boys" by Clarissa Wild - Spine Ridge University series

Evil boys is the 2nd book in the series. This one follows Felix's sister Lana. She's the golden child of the family or at least that's what she wants everyone to believe. This whole series has a decent list of trigger warnings which I highly recommend looking at but if they don't bother you and you're into BDSM then this one should be a good read for you.  Lana is the daughter of one of the biggest criminal families. She's got her own dark secrets but she portrays herself to be above that. She trys very hard to only let people see the parts of her that make her look like the golden child. This is her first official year at the university. Very quickly she ends up running into her brothers 3 enemies and ends up on their radar.  Kai, Milo, and Nathan are Lana's brothers 3 enemies and they instantly take an interest in her. However, that interest doesn't intensify until she jips them out of one of their means for money. At that point she's crossed...

My Thoughts on "Sick Boys" (Spine Ridge University series) - by Clarissa Wild

I saw this book all over TikTok and Facebook as a great smutty read however, I didn't know what I was getting into when reading this book. As per usual I didn't read any trigger warnings (as one probably should) and I didn't read any reviews. I just went based off what the BookTok gals and facebook gals said that it was an amazing read. It was. This has ALL the spice as well as a great story line.      Pen is out for revenge on her sisters death. She enrolls into the same university that her sister died at and in a rather unconventional way she enlist the help of 3 Skull and Serpent Fraternity boys. These boys are sick and twisted and throw every red flag there is! Little does Pen know but these same 3 boys are looking for the same revenge she is. They make a deal her body for their help. At the time of the deal, Pen really didn't know what she was getting herself into but in the end I believe it was well worth it!  ...

My thoughts on "Wings of a Devil" (Sinners and Angels Novella) by Luna Pierce

Wings of a Devil was not the story I thought it was going to be. This story is about the sister of one of the guys who took Johnny's package and almost hurt Claire. Banks is set out for revenge but she ends up finding things out that changed her whole course.      This one as most novellas are is a short story however, this one is very fast paced. I gave it 3/5 stars because it was almost rushed. I think this one could have been it's own story and it wouldn't have felt rushed to me. However, the story was great over all and it does leave on a cliff hanger.  Fav Quotes: “I once said you were like a butterfly—that this world would pluck your wings until there was nothing left of you. But I was wrong.” He slowly guides the gun around my front. “You don’t have the wings of a butterfly, you have the wings of a devil.” Over All Rating: 3/5, Spice Rating: 5/5, Book, ebook or Audio: EBook Keep Reading Loves,  MamaB  /
